Ordinance #271 - Multiple Family Dwelling - Permitted Uses

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE SECTION 3.03.05(G) OF THE MARION CITY ZONING ORDINANCES TO ALLOW MULTIPLE FAMILY DWELLINGS AS A PERMITTED USE.

             BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF MARION , SOUTH DAKOTA :

            That Section 3.03.05(G) District R-1:  Residential District of the Marion City Zoning Ordinances is hereby amended to allow the following as permitted uses:

Permitted Uses:

Antennas 35 feet or less in height attached

Attached and detached garages for housing residents’ vehicles

Detached accessory or utility buildings for housing lawn, garden, or children’s play

            equipment less than 120 square feet

Home occupations

Libraries

Multiple family dwellings

Parks and recreation areas

Satellite dishes up to 36 inches in diameter

Schools

Single family dwellings

             This Amendment shall not effect any other provision in Section 3.03.05(G) and those provisions shall remain in effect.
