Ordinance #266 - Drivers License

AN ORDINANCE REQUIRING A LICENSE BE IN THE POSSESSION OF DRIVER

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF MARION , SOUTH DAKOTA :

1.         Each licensee shall have a driver license in the licensee’s immediate possession at all times when operating a motor vehicle and shall display the driver license upon demand of a judge of a court of record, a magistrate, a peace officer, or a field deputy or inspector of the Department of Public Safety.

2.         Violation of this Ordinance shall be a petty offense.

3.         That this Ordinance shall be codified as Ordinance 266.
