Ordinance #256 - Council Meeting Time

An Ordinance amending Section 1.0105 of the Marion City Ordinances regarding City Council meetings.

            BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF MARION , SOUTH DAKOTA :

That Section 1.0105 of the Marion City Ordinances is hereby amended to read in full as follows:

 1.0105     Meetings of the City Council. The regular meetings of the City Council shall be held on the first Monday of each calendar month, or at such other days as designated by the City Council, beginning at such time as designated by the City Council, at City Hall, or such other meeting place as the Council may designate, and the same may be adjourned from time to time by a majority of the members present.

 

Special meetings of the City Council may be called any time by the Mayor or any three members of the City Council, upon written or personal notice to each alderman of the time, place and purpose of such meeting.
